"The electronics giant launched a free Web-based phone service on Wednesday called Instant Video Everywhere, designed to link users of the service via their computers. According to an advertisement on Sony's Web site, the new service will ship with the company's latest version of Vaio BX laptops, which are equipped with built-in video cameras." Imagine a world of increasing communication. One where a doctor can visually talk with a patient, a world where you can visit with that niece or grandchild who lives some distance elsewhere, a world where you can watch and communicate your thoughts in local government actions at public meetings, a world where personable and important events are available on your screen during those times when you cannot physically be there. It is possible now, but it's going to get easier very soon. Rick Grams
