Open Letter to the President
By Mike Jones
November 13, 2006
Monday
Dear President Bush,
Border Patrol agents Jose Alonso
Compean and Ignacio Ramos have been wrongfully convicted and
sentenced. They should be pardoned by the White House and set
free.
How can you possibly tell the American people that your administration
has made improvements in border security when Assistant U.S.
Attorney Debra Kanof tells a Texas court that "Agents are
not allowed to pursue [fleeing suspects]?" How are Border
Patrol agents supposed to do their job if they are prosecuted
for pursuing suspects?
This case has sent a message to drug smugglers and terrorists
around the globe: "We won't stop you." No wonder most
Americans do not feel safe.
You are the President of the United States and you have stated
time and again that your first priority is to protect the citizens
of this country. You can start by protecting the people who put
their lives on the line at the border every day.
Pardon Compean and Ramos. IF YOU DO NOT PARDON THESE PEOPLE,
WHO WERE DOING EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE HIRED TO DO, YOUR LEGACY
WILL NOT BE PARDONED, IN FACT YOU WILL BE KNOWN AS THE PRESIDENT
WHO STARTED THE DOWNFALL OF THE UNITED STATES!!!
Ludicrous actions, such as
this unbelievable but unfortunately true, conviction of United
States security personnel doing their jobs and then getting put
in jail for it, is just one of your administrations FOOLISH and
HYPOCRITICAL decisions that have been made in the past 6 years!!!
We can only hope that you will
see the uneducated, hypocritical, treasonous actions you have
made and try to rectify them over the next 2 years while you
still have a chance.
Thank You,
Mike Jones
Willow, AK
P.S.
THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!!
SO ARE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES WHO ARE READY, WILLING
AND ABLE TO SEE THAT YOU DO NOT CONTINUE YOUR CURRENT TREASONOUS
PATH TO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND ITS' CONSTITUTION!!!
