In response to the letter by Susan Round regarding the various definitions of the word rogue and how they may best apply to Sarah Palin: Susan, in reading the dictionary definitions you posted and which one would best apply to Sarah Palin, since the elephant is the symbol of the republican party, and "to separate from the herd" is considered to be a rogue, you need not look further. Given the fact that the republican party has drifted to the left of center in recent years, Governor Palins abrupt right turn appears to be quite refreshing to a few million frustrated folks wouldn't you agree? Perhaps that's the reason her book is a number one best seller. Hope this helps to clear away some of the fog. Sincerely, Andy Rauwolf Received November 23, 2009 - Published November 23, 2009
