Friday
Ketchikan, Alaska - Before leaving Ketchikan on his way back
to the North Pole, Santa and Elf Tyler Dickey made a special
visit to honor the men and women who serve our country and to
personally wish them a Merry Christmas.

Santa said although he expects no problems on Christmas Eve during
his annual run, he knows if he runs into any trouble he can count
on the brave men and women of the United States Coast Guard.
These fine men and women are always there to lend a helping hand
to those in need.
Officials at the United States
Coast Guard Base Ketchikan were happy to accommodate Santa's
request to help make this special visit possible.
On departing Santa said - what
else, "Ho, ho, ho... Merry Christmas!"
USCG Base Ketchikan
and its ships had a magical glow the night of Santa's special
visit.
