Fisherman looking for tips
By Lawren Keeler
December 10, 2005
Saturday
I was a Dutch Harbor crab fisherman 20+ years and quit harvesting
king crab after 2004 when rationalzation was implemented. I went
to school last winter and got my EMT and applied for many jobs.
My resume consists of crabbing and more crabbing. I'm about to
start more schooling in January, it's very expensive.
I'm looking for tips in my
search for financial aid to get me retrained. I'm one of many
who are out of a career after making those boat owners millionaires.
Fed up and used to it.
I enjoy Fish Factor. Keep up
the good info.
Thanks,
Lawren Keeler
