Native or Indigenous

Indigenous and pristine are beautiful words in any language,
Ms. Janelle Hamilton. I use these words a lot and they say a
lot in my opinions. I don't understand where you are going
with your one sentence opinion. My pet peeves are words "economic
development" that some people use for a shield, hidden
agendas, exploitation, free tax dollars and greed.
I guess I could use words like
Native to Ketchikan, Alaska or my people have been in Ketchikan
and the area since Time and Memorial or 10,000 years. There
are a lot of people who get mad because they are only temporary
residents (5 years or less) or visitors that come and go in any
particular region or locality.
In closing, I hope everybody
has a great New Year 2006. Regardless what our opinions are.
Gunal cheesh, ho ho.
