Those passing the comprehensive "Bar" exam will now serve as attorneys, judges, bailiffs, clerks and jurors in the Ketchikan Youth Court. They will determine the sentences of offending peers referred to the program by the courts. Photograph by Gretchen Klein Alaska Lt. Governor Loren Leman congratulated these young Alaskans after they were sworn in as Ketchikan Youth Court members by Judge Trevor Stephens. Leman challenged the youth to stand strong as leaders. Bob Combs, the new Director of the Ketchikan Youth Court, also helped the graduates prepare for the "Bar" exam. Names of the graduates were not released for web publication.
