The prison idea sounds like
a good idea to me, after all, the state has to farm out Alaskan
prisoners because we don't have enough bed space Why send Alaska
s dollars to another state when we could put those dollars into
Ketchikan? That being said, if we cannot use the Ward Cove site,
how about another site? The May 2009 EPA EFS can be
found at: http://yosemite.epa.gov/R10/CLEANUP.NSF/sites/kpc/$FILE/05-11-09%20 About: " I have lived in Ketchikan for 30+ years. I have an Associates Degree in Business and owned a business on Prince of Wales for many years. I have raised my children here and I am concerned that our economy is not going to hold up as it is and we need some internal income that will sustain us for many years to come."
