The Ketchikan Food Club will meet at the Ketchikan Public Library for ordering from 4:30 - 5:30 pm. This non-profit buying group orders from a natural food grocery supplier in Seattle every other month.

This First City Players production is their annual fall musical, with armor shining, and swords flying. Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm, Sunday at 2pm. 7:00 pm - Alaskan writer Nick Jans will present a slide show and book signing at the Ted Ferry Civic Center to feature his new book "Grizzly Maze: Timothy Treadwell's Fatal Obsession with Alaskan Bears." Nick has written several books about his life as a teacher and an outdoorsman in Ambler, Alaska and he currently writes a monthly column for Alaska Magazine from his home in Juneau. Books provided by Parnassus Books.

7:30 pm - Wild and Zany Tomas Kubinek comes to the Kayhi Stage! This Czechoslovakian -born, Canadian- raised solo artist will bring wacky physical comedy and flying tricks to Ketchikan. If you like Monty Python, or the Cirque de Soleil clowns, or anything else funny, this is the show for you! Tickets will be available soon. For more information call the Arts Council at 225-2211.
