Ketchikan: White
Cliff Options Discussed -
Parents of White Cliff
students, teachers, and elected officials met Wednesday night
at the Ketchikan High School library to discuss options for the
2004-05 school year for White Cliff Elementary School. All and
any options were up for discussion as nearly 100 people broke
up into discussion groups. A list of five possible solutions
was used by workshop participants to narrow the field. - Read

Dick Morris:
Mr. Bush, You're President of America, Not Iraq - The defining
issue President Bush needs to press in this election is domestic
security against terrorism. Only by expanding the terror issue
and relocating it from Iraq to the United States can he hope
to win the votes of the women who are backing Sen. John Kerry
(D-Mass.).
Thus far, Bush's message has
been the need to attack terrorists where they live and hide -
in the "axis of evil" nations that harbor or support
them. But he had not correlated this offensive with the need
for domestic security. He needs to point out that we have not
had a major terror attack for the past three years because we
have the terrorists back on their heels, fighting close to home,
hiding out in caves, and unable to pull off a Sept. 11 type of
strike. - Read

Fish or Cut Bait by Bob
Ciminel: New
Member of the Family - Last Friday, my son gave me a kitten
for my birthday. We sent him to the store for bread and milk;
he came back with a 6-week-old kitten. He found it at one of
those "Free to Good Home" kiosks. I wonder if the kitten's
owners would have wanted money if we were a "Bad Home".
How does one define a "Good Home" kittenwise? Is it
a home with no dogs, or with a backyard full of small birds?

Ketchikan - Dear Crabby:
REGULAR
GUY and SORRY SISTER - I want to know something. My girlfriend
(Tiffany) is fun and cute, but she makes a big deal out of everything.
I don't know if she's really upset half the time, or just acting
over-dramatic because she wants to be the star of the show. Everywhere
we go Tiffany has to get all the attention. Do you have a way
to tell if she is ever going to be normal, or what her problem
is? My friends can't stand her and my family thinks she's weird.
I'm not sure what's going on. - Read
