Class of 1964 Holds 40th Reunion - The Kayhi Class of 1964
gathered over the 4th of July weekend to celebrate their 40th
reunion. Sitnews caught up with them during a picnic held at
the Ketchikan home of Judy (Henley) Berg (Class of '62). Back
in 1964 the editors of the class yearbook wrote in the front:
"We, the staff of the 1964 Williwaw, hope you will always
find pleasant memories in our book."
As can be seen in the following
photos, the class did indeed appear to find many pleasant memories
in their Williwaw. They also appeared to be having a blast. -

Losing Status in the World - I was in London recently giving
a speech to a major economic conference of global lenders and
borrowers. The news from the audience, comprised of about 40
percent Americans, was not encouraging for President Bush. In
a poll on the first day of the conference, a majority of the
1,000 or so attendees said they thought John Kerry would win
the November elections. More stunningly, however, 60 percent
of the Americans said they would vote for Kerry, the President
was below 30 percent, and the rest were undecided. - Read
