Transfers Corporations Section to Occupational Licensing
- The Alaska Department of Commerce announced Thursday the transfer
of its Corporations section to the Division of Occupational Licensing.
The decision was based on the desire to eliminate data base conflicts
that existed between Occupational Licensing and Banking, Securities
and Corporations. The intent is to provide better access to public
information, and to create a single location within state government
for customers wanting to obtain a license, register a trademark,
form an LLC or register a business name. - More...

Qaeda - The Connection - If you believe what John Kerry and
his stooges in the media say, there was never any connection
between Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden and his terrorist
al Qaeda organization.
During the debate between Vice
President Cheney and John Edwards the other night, Edwards attacked
Cheney for maintaining that there was a real connection between
the two, and the media rushed to claim that there is no evidence
of any such connection. - More...

A
Legendary Mountain of Jade; Just one of Alaska's Arctic Wonders
- Alaska is a state of superlatives. It is the nation's largest
state. We drive past or fly over America's highest mountain.
We can visit the nation's deepest cave on Prince of Wales Island,
admire the waters of our state's longest coastline and enjoy
the midnight sun's longest days. Most of us, however, will
never see our superlative example of the Alaska State Gem - jade.
That's because Jade Mountain, an entire mountain made of beautiful
dark green jade, is far from any Alaska road system. - More...
