Guard boat crew rescues father and son - A Coast Guard boat
crew rescued a father and son from cold Alaskan waters Tuesday
afternoon after their sail boat capsized near Ketchikan.
Personnel at Coast Guard Station
Ketchikan received a phone call at 1:23 p.m. from a Good Samaritan who
reported seeing a sail boat capsize south of Ketchikan near Mountain
Point. Two rescue boat crews were dispatched from
Station Ketchikan. The rescue crews arrived on scene at 1:50
p.m. and pulled Steve Hales, 54, and his 21 year old son Josh,
from the water. Both men spent approximately one hour in

side in that four-year dispute claimed to be the injured party,
but the war was much less complicated than originally thought.
